"The Game"

Many of us have heard of situations where a man (or woman) financially and emotionally supported a child for a period of time to later find out that the child was not their own. Should that man (or woman) be reimbursed for the money it provided for the support of the child?

  1. Wow that's a hard one. I think if the situation wasn't intention then no the father shouldn't have to pay...but if it was even a doubt in the mother's mind then yes the father should receive all of his money back. I know its hard to figure out if the mother knew or not so they should do a lie detector test on them.

  2. Absolutely not! I tell people all the time, if you are not married .. get a DNA test. That is your only way to know if you are really the father of the child and you do not need the mother to consent or be present in order to get the test done. If a man sits there for years paying for a child that ends up not being his ... he has no one to blame but himself. He has choices. If you choose to sit on your rights, then you suffer the consequences of that choice.
